Celebrity designer Pepper Foster came to us with a new fashion line, some staple pieces, and a logo, but to build a fashion line, he needed a lot more. He was looking to create not just a lifestyle apparel brand for sports enthusiasts, but to create thoughtful brand extensions, build brand awareness through consistent marketing, and design an Instagram worthy shopping experience that any influencer would want to be a part of. We created a comprehensive strategy and design plan to set the brand up for success upon launch and in the future.

Founded by celebrity designer Pepper Foster, Monkey Sport Apparel provides gear for the sports enthusiast with an active lifestyle in need of a high-end wardrobe. And in the fashion world, iteration is key when you need to provide your customers with fresh merchandise and marketing materials from season to season. That’s where we came in!

To compliment the clothing lines staple pants and jackets, we created graphics in the brand’s eclectic urban style for applications on shirts, hats, backpacks, socks- all the clothing needs of the Monkey Sport Apparel customer. We also worked on color stories for merchandise and pattern designs for use on products and digital assets.
To immerse the customers in the Monkey Sport Apparel world, we developed concept renderings for an in-person Monkey Cage pop-up shop with elegant touches and industrial finishes that connect with the sports enthusiast with classy tastes.
We anticipated the needs of the growing brand through thoughtful extensions such as hair and skincare products, designing both the packaging and point-of-sale display concepts.
The partnership with Monkey Sports gave the brand an advantage- a large email and mailing list full of customers. To generate buzz, we designed a fold-out poster brochure and stickers to include in orders that promoted awareness around the launch.
While the merchandise could be found in-store at The Monkey Cage, an eCommerce website was also designed, along with banner ads and email campaigns.

When Monkey Sport Apparel decided to make promos for YouTube and their website, you know we were in! We worked with our video producer to bring the collection to life, and when Pepper needed a model stand in, of course our lead designer, Nathan Owens, was on board! Looking good, Nathan!
